Rubeena's Crafting Anniversary Blog Hop Day 2 + Giveaways
Hello friends and welcome to my stop on Rubeena's Crafting Anniversary Day 2 Blog Hop. If you've been hopping along with us, you should have arrived here from Marcie Sharp. There is a full list of the blog hop at the bottom of the post, if you're feeling a little lost.
This hop is epic with more than 60 guests and over $600 in sponsored prizes! Not only we are celebrating four years since Rubeena first discovered cardmaking but also crafting in general. This industry is made up of wonderful individuals who are creative, inspirational, kind, and incredibly supportive! Hop along so you can learn about why we create and how much joy it brings us! For details on day one of the hop, you can visit Ruby's blog( my blog).
My cardmaking journey began when I stumbled upon one of Jennifer McGuire's tutorials on Youtube. She made everything looks so simple and easy. It was hard not to be inspired by her talent at making beautiful cards, from there I discovered many other talented cardmakers. I started crafting in my kitchen table and I finally have a craftroom. It's still a work in progress but at least I have a place to have some ME time. I call it my happy place in my house :)
Enough about me! Lol! ;) And lets get started on today's card.
I am sharing a project using an older stamp set from last year's Mama Elephant STAMPtember with Simon Says Stamp. I've had this set since last year and I have never used it. I forgot how cute this set was.
I stamped all my images using MFT Chocolate Hybrid ink onto a Neenah solar white cardstock. I colored all my images using copic markers and fussy cut each one.
I die cut the grass using MFT grass die but any die you have on hand would work as well. Then I blended Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron distress oxide. I also die cut a fence on a white cardstock using Farm Fence Die from MFT, again anything you have handy will work.
To finish my card, I added a sentiment, as well as some highlights to my images. I adhered my panel to an A2 size card.
That's it for me and thanks for sticking with me to the end! Your next stop on the hop is Sharna Waksmulski.
I just want to thank Rubeena for having me be part of this epic hop and congrats on fours years of creativity. You are an inspiration to me and many others!!!
