Altenew November 2018 Stencil/Ink Spray Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the final stop of the Altenew November 2018 Stencil/Ink Spray Release Blog Hop, you should have arrived here from Erum Tasneem blog. A list of the full hop will be posted at the end of this post if you need get back from the start. You can also find the full list over at Altenew Blog.

I'm super excited to share some projects using some of the newest sprays and stencils from this release! So let's get started.

For my first card, I used Sunburst stencil to create my background to help my image pop! I blended Aged Mahogany and Worn Lipstick distress oxide inks. Working from the outside and leaving the middle mostly white. I just love the pattern of this stencil! You can either use the full pattern of the stencil or just the outside of the pattern. It's the perfect addition to any project.

I colored one of the flowers from the Engraved flowers stamp using my copic markers. To finish the card, I heat embossed the word Thank You from an older sentiment from Many Thanks stamp set.  I also added a Kraft cardstock to help my sentiment pop!

For my second project, I wanted to create a window as the main focus of my card.  I created an ombre effect background using Wavy Grid stencil, by blending Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers distress oxide.  I used a rectangle die to create the window.

I also blended the same color of distress oxide for my main panel for a continuous flow. For some added interest and a bit of shimmer, I splattered some Lagoon Metallic Shimmer ink spray to my panel. I just love how its the perfect match for the two distress oxide. I used another image from the Engraved Flowers stamps. I colored them with my copic markers as well. Then to finish the card I added a sentiment from the same set.

That's all for me today! I am super thankful for being part of this hop. I hope you found some inspirations along the way and I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration with products from the Altenew November 2018 release.
